1. In accordance with the new direction of transforming the EdUHK into a multi-disciplinary university, we aim at enhancing the quality of subject knowledge research so as to create a favourable environment for the development of discipline-based postgraduate research degree programmes.
2. Promote the culture of collaboration in research, by teaming experienced academics with juniors to work on projects and explore the possibilities of applying for outside funds such as GRFs.
3. Expand the research capacity of our members while fostering EdUHK’s academic image, through publishing research outcomes, participating in and organizing international academic conferences.
4. Emphasising the linkage between the production of literary knowledge and literature education with an awareness of the Hong Kong context, we aim also at further consolidating the strength of the EdUHK in educational research and application.
