Professor Cheng was moderator and commenter of this meeting. From works that were created to revolt against the Qi Liang style, Professor Cheng proceeded to the history of the interpretation of Dao, after which she put forward another enlightening view: the significance of the “modelisation” (典範化 dian fan hua) of texts.
